Velvetink is a non-commercial project for fan-made, collaborative stories. Everything the community posts here is published under the Creative Commons license CC BY-NC-SA 4.0.

• You keep the copyright in what you write. You allow everyone to share and adapt your contributions, comments and anything built from them under CC BY-NC-SA 4.0. This license cannot be revoked for copies already shared, even if you later delete your text or account.
• Attribution: your contributions are credited with your Reddit username (also in the project credits). If you delete your account, they are shown as "[deleted]" instead.
• NonCommercial: nobody may use the content for commercial purposes – including us. No selling, no exploitation.
• ShareAlike: adaptations must be shared under the same license.
• This also covers text you wrote with the help of AI tools that you submit here, as well as the AI summaries that moderators publish from community contributions. Only submit text you are allowed to share.
• Fan works can involve characters, worlds or other material owned by third parties. The license only covers your own contribution; we cannot guarantee that any use is permitted by those rights holders.
• Moderators may remove content that breaks the rules; removed content is permanently deleted after 30 days.
